Join our Managed Services team as a Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer, supporting enterprise-grade integrations and API solutions. You will work closely with Service Delivery Managers, Architects, and clients to maintain, enhance, and optimize MuleSoft-based integration landscapes. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of integrations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments while adhering to ITIL processes and managed service standards.
Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer – Managed Services
Your responsibilities
- Drive technical support, maintenance, and enhancement of MuleSoft integrations and APIs in collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support platform upgrades (Mule runtime, Anypoint Platform) including impact analysis, development/configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of learning, quality, and technical excellence.
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve performance, reliability, cost-efficiency, and developer productivity across the integration landscape.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable API-led MuleSoft solutions; provide estimates and design guidance.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to enhance system stability.
- Improve observability of integrations through logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
Our requirements
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft and understanding Salesforce-MuleSoft integration patterns.
- MuleSoft certifications: MCD Level 1, Integration Architect, Platform Architect, API Design Associate.
- Expertise in Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform, with strong DataWeave skills.
- Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
- Experience with REST/SOAP, RAML/OpenAPI, messaging (JMS/Kafka), and connectors/protocols.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices: OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS/TLS, client credential management, and API gateway policies.
- Hands-on experience with deployment topologies: CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid/on-prem; familiarity with VPCs, VPNs, Private Spaces, and environment promotion strategies.
- Proficiency in monitoring and debugging tools, performance tuning, and resiliency patterns.
- Proven track record in managed services or IT support projects in an international environment.
- Leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience managing a small project team, including task assignment, progress supervision, and end-to-end solution quality ownership.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and integration solutions.
