Senior Mobile QA Engineer
Location: Łódź, PL, 90-118 Kraków, PL, 30-302 Warszawa, PL, 00-839 Poznań, WP, PL, 61-569

Type of contract: employment contract
Salary range: 12840-19600 PLN gross/m
What will you do
- Work on innovative, large-scale mobile products, taking full ownership of the quality strategy across the development lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile testing (UI and API)
- Define and implement testing architecture aligned with DevOps and CI/CD best practices
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers, promoting high testing and automation standards
- Actively optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and scalable test feedback (e.g. parallel testing, shift-left testing)
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new testing tools and technologies
- Define and oversee non-functional testing strategies, including performance, security, and usability testing
- Perform advanced data analysis using complex SQL queries to identify systemic quality issues
- Act as a quality leader within the Scrum team, collaborating closely with Product Owners on acceptance criteria and quality-by-design
- Manage and review test code using Git/Bitbucket, applying advanced branching and code review practices
Requirements
- Extensive experience (minimum 3+ years) in testing complex mobile applications across different platforms and scenarios
- Advanced expertise in test automation, including building automation frameworks from scratch
- Strong knowledge of scripting/programming languages used in test automation
- Very good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI)
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
- Excellent command of Git and repository management
- Advanced knowledge of functional and non-functional testing strategies
- Expert-level exploratory testing skills
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (JOINs, procedures, in-depth data analysis)
- Strong communication skills, leadership mindset, and ability to mentor others
- Proactive problem-solving skills and strategic, holistic approach to quality
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- Experience testing applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Industry certifications (e.g. ISTQB Advanced Level)
- Experience with automated mobile application testing frameworks
