Hybrid## Senior Mechanical EngineerWroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland**Location:** Wroclaw, Poland; Hybrid**Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer****Reports to:** Mechanical Engineering ManagerFluke in Poland is expanding its presence by seeking new talents to join R&D team in Wroclaw.We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work as an individual contributor expertise owning mechanical design work packages within the product development process, solving complex engineering problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be part of global Fluke’s mechanical engineering group and cooperate with engineers working within Europe but also North America and interacting with international vendors.You will focus on mechanical design, plastic part development, hardware integration, documentation, and validation, supporting product robustness and manufacturability.In this role, you will be working as individual mechanical engineer and participate in development of products from concept through launch and continue improving our portfolio. You will interact with a wide variety of internal and external teams, such as Project Management, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, suppliers and external partners, Electrical engineering, Product Compliance, and Project Coordination.Throughout mechanical designs, design reviews, prototype design solutions, detailed drawing work, and proper documentation, you will be responsible for developing mechanical elements used in Fluke products. This includes components and overall system designs supporting Design for Manufacturability (DFM), industry standards, and Fluke defined product robustness requirements**Responsibilities*** Individually designing mechanical parts and mechanical systems* Develop mechanical components and subsystems to meet project and product requirements* Participate in mechanical design efforts for new and existing products, with a focus on plastic part design and hardware integration.* Contribute to the design of injection molding tools and ensure manufacturability of plastic components.* Ensure designs meet compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS) and internal robustness requirements.* Perform engineering activities and studies for product excellence – DFM, robustness testing, regulatory standard testing according to IEC61010* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective mechanical-electrical integration.* Conduct mechanical design reviews, risk assessments and mitigation, project validation activities within assigned project scope.* Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, tools, and documentation practices.* Provide hands-on support in designing, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.* Support Mechanical Engineering Manager in global efforts for estimating mechanical work scope and supports project outcomes.**Required Qualifications*** 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.* Strong competence in plastic part design and mechanical assemblies.* Proficiency in CAD design, experience with Creo/ProEngineer is strongly preferred - 3D modeling, creation of drawings with GD&T, and data management.* Hands‑on experience with prototyping, iterative design, and testing.* Ability to solve complex engineering problems using established best technical practices* Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.* Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards for plastic and hardware products.* Demonstrated hands-on experience in prototyping and iterative design.* A strong sense of self-discipline, integrity and ownership.**Fortive Corporation Overview**Fortives essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
