Senior MDM Specialist is responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex Master Data Management (MDM) features across HEINEKEN’s global landscape. This role ensures high‑quality, integrated master data by collaborating with business and technical teams, driving governance improvements, and aligning solutions with strategic goals and industry standards. Operating within the Digital & Technology (D&T) department, the Senior MDM Specialist plays a key role in advancing HEINEKEN’s data strategy and promoting best‑in‑class data stewardship.
Your Responsibilities
- owning the end‑to‑end process of eliciting requirements for complex MDM features and workflows through proactive engagement with stakeholders
- taking full responsibility for creating and maintaining comprehensive business requirement documents, functional specifications, authorizations, data flow diagrams, and internal knowledge repositories
- leading collaboration with MDM Technical Specialists by providing expert guidance and ensuring consistency in bridging business and technical terminology
- advising on effort estimation and user story prioritization to MDM Product Owner
- overseeing the development lifecycle and ensuring strategic alignment
- defining and improving MDM performance metrics and reporting
- driving governance enhancements and aligning with industry standards
- delivering strategic consultancy across the organization and developing tailored materials
- championing MDM awareness and adoption across HEINEKEN
- taking ownership of drafting and refining user stories that reflect both technical feasibility and business value, ensuring clarity and completeness throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a Master Data Management role
- the ability to guide users in discovering their needs regarding MDM functionalities
- the ability to translate business requirements into data specifications for end‑to‑end MDM features and workflow
- experience in designing, delivering, and maintaining end‑to‑end MDM features and workflows
- experience managing reference data for Customers, Vendors, Finance, Business Partners, and related areas
- hands‑on experience with specific MDM tools (Medix, SAP, Tibco), knowledge of most common others
- the ability to work in a cross‑functional environment
