? For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior Manual Tester - 3 DAYS AT THE OFFICE REQUIRED?

We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester with technical hands on experience testing in Agile teams.

The team members are located in Nordic Countries, Poland and India.

Firstly : 3 DAYS AT THE OFFICE REQUIRED

✔ Must-have qualifications:

1. Practical experience in manual testing of RESTful APIs

• Ability to design, execute, and document API test cases.
• Experience validating request/response payloads, status codes, response headers, and data formats (JSON/XML).

2. Hands-on proficiency with Swagger / OpenAPI

• Ability to explore API endpoints, understand specifications, verify request parameters and schemas, and execute requests via Swagger UI.
• Ability to identify API documentation inconsistencies and missing details.

3. Knowledge of API testing tools

• Experience using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, cURL, or similar.

4. Good understanding of HTTP and REST principles

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• Understanding common HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE) and status codes.

5. Test design and analysis skills

• Ability to derive test scenarios from requirements and API documentation.
• Familiarity with techniques such as boundary testing, negative testing, and regression testing.

6. Basic understanding of JSON and XML formats

• Ability to read, interpret, and validate structured data.

7. Basic understanding of SQL

• Ability to perform simple queries to validate data correctness (SELECT, JOIN, filtering).

✔ Experience:

• More than 5 years’ of experience in Software Testing
• Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in REST API testing
• General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level.
• Experienced in test management tools (qTest or similar i.e Xray/HP ALM)
• Experienced in defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software systems
• Working in Agile Teams & Jira/Confluence practical experience

,[✔ Responsibilities:, Designing, developing and executing test casesIdentifying and documenting and tracking defects throughout the devemopment lifecycle, Collaborating closely with developers, product owners and other team members fo clarify requirements and ensure test coverage, Veifying bug fixes and validating new features before release, Participating in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve ur QA process, Ensuring that testing is aligned with business requirements and customer expectations, Contributing to ghe development of testing standards, tools and best practises Requirements: REST API, JSON, XML, Swagger, HTTP, SoapUI, SQL, OpenAPI, Postman, CI/CD Additionally: Sport subscription, Private healthcare.
