Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Manual Tester with extensive experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
2. Design, document, and execute test cases for product releases.
3. Develop and execute test plans and cases in Jira.
4. Collaborate with development and product teams to align on requirements and testing.
5. Track defects and ensure thorough documentation of test results.
6. Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of the application.
7. Independently determine and design testing approaches that support comprehensive testing of difficult solutions; mentor and cross-train others on testing.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of manual testing experience.
2. Solid knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management.
3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
4. Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML and SOAP/API testing with Postman as well as Java.
5. Experience with functional testing of multi-tier Web applications.
6. Experience working with issues tracking tools, test cases design and execution. Preferably JIRA.
7. Solid understanding of large-scale systems testing.
8. Experience working with Agile methodologies and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
9. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

1. Experience in background check industry.
