Were looking for a Manual QA Engineer to validate a robotic system end-to-end on real hardware. Youll execute test scenarios in the lab, analyze logs, reproduce defects, and collaborate closely with developers and systems/robotics engineers to ensure safe and reliable behavior. This is a 100% onsite position in our Kraków office/lab. Remote work is not available.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a Senior Manual QA / Software Test Engineer (or strong equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals: test design, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing
• Confident Linux user (terminal, logs, basic troubleshooting)
• Experience testing complex systems (embedded, robotics, automotive, medical, IoT, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with engineers on technical issues
• Good English (B2+), written and spoken

Job responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of a robotic system in a lab environment (functional, regression, integration, exploratory).
• Proactive, self-driven mindset: this is an R&D environment, so youre expected to independently investigate issues, dig into logs/behavior, and drive root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers.
• Static testing responsibilities: review requirements/specs, interfaces and testability; perform static analysis of documentation/design (incl. checklists, consistency, ambiguity, completeness) and provide early feedback before execution testing.
• Execute test cases, document results, and report defects.
• Work with Linux: basic CLI operations, log collection, process/service checks, networking basics.
• Analyze system logs and traces to narrow down issues.
• Validate firmware/software releases on hardware; support smoke tests and release readiness.
• Validate tools.
• Maintain and improve test documentation: test cases, checklists, test reports, test data.
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams (developers, systems, robotics, HW) to debug and verify fixes.
