Whats the position?

We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional sports betting and casino gaming experiences. The ideal consultant will bring a strong background in quality assurance, deep technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring the highest standards of product performance and functionality. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast‑paced, complex environment while mentoring junior team members and leading quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure product quality
  • Reviewing and analysing product and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies
  • Collaborating with QA and development teams to create detailed test plans and test cases
  • Executing test cases and analysing results to identify and document issues
  • Reporting and managing bugs, and assisting in troubleshooting issues
  • Monitoring health check metrics to ensure product stability
  • Working closely with Product and Development teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Contributing to QA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes
  • Learn our application(s) inside and out and become subject matter expert
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members in best practices, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Take ownership of testing strategy and execution for complex features or modules
  • Act as the primary QA point of contact in cross‑functional discussions and planning sessions.
  • Lead efforts in improving QA processes and implementing tools or frameworks that enhance efficiency

Key skills required for this position

  • 4+ years of professional experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications
  • Advanced expertise in identifying and resolving complex issues in web and mobile applications, including performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and UI/UX inconsistencies
  • Mastery in using QA tools (e.g., Proxyman, Charles, DevTools, Postman) and emulators for efficient troubleshooting and debugging
  • Mid level knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write and execute queries to validate data and support troubleshooting efforts
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Thorough understanding of test‑management software and the QA role throughout the SDLC
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback
  • Strong decision‑making abilities, especially under tight deadlines or when prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to cross‑functional engagement
  • Team‑oriented mindset, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced, complex setting
  • A genuine enthusiasm for sports betting and casino gaming, with a passion for understanding the industry
  • Experience with test automation development (backend or frontend) in Python is a plus
