The role involves providing comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ensuring seamless execution of financial strategies, operational initiatives, and business development plans as well as acting as their right hand in all required matters. The successful candidate will be hands-on, involved in a variety of tasks ranging from supporting the execution of financial strategy to helping to implement operational initiatives. With a deep understanding of market trends and financial management, you will bring exceptional analytical and communication skills to the role. As a key liaison between the CFO and various stakeholders, you will play a crucial part in driving our business forward, optimising performance, and enhancing operational efficiency

What you need to have to succeed in this role

  • Risk, Liquidity or Capital expertise and knowledge – to help drive explain and commentary.
  • Post graduate/graduate with some experience in Treasury or Finance reporting areas.
  • Experience in gathering complex information and presenting the information in a digestible manner.
  • Experience in data quality management and remediation.
  • Strong data analytical skills, including hands on experience in managing large volumes of data with a proven ability to interpret and comment on data issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

,[Assist the CFOs in syndicating information from financial strategies, progress on key projects and people initiatives ensuring alignment with Group goals., Review and coordinate the publication / communication of MI to aid decisions and business development initiatives., Act as a liaison between the CFO and various internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration., Review financial performance packs, collaborating with the FP&A team to identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement., Preparation of presentations through storytelling for executive management, townhalls and team meetings. Support as required on financial reporting., Drive key projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO, ensuring timely and successful completion., Provide initiatives for leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment., Drive the delivery of key projects especially on data strategy and automation/AI solutions amongst others - leading on the working groups.
