The TechSoup team in Europe (headquartered in Warsaw) oversees the design and implementation of programs in close collaboration with the TechSoup Global Network of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). TechSoup Global Network manages a wide range of technology capacity-building programs for communities in nearly every region of the world.

Purpose of role: Senior Manager P&C is working closely with the TechSoup leadership in Europe and other contributors outside the organization. We aim to increase our visibility, profile, and reach throughout Europe, so that the various stakeholders such as NGOs, governments, corporate partners, and funders are aware of TechSoup, understand our work, recognize our brand, and the social impact we make.

Primary responsibilities:

• Lead all TechSoup’s People & Culture/HR related activities in Europe, including personal administration, reporting, payrolls, recruitment processes, onboardings.
• Have a leading role in developing and managing TechSoup’s organizational culture in Europe.
• Create and implement P&C strategic documents in cooperation with the TechSoup global P&C team.
• Coordinate identification of development areas in all departments and individually for employees.
• Coordinate internal day-to-day communication with diverse TechSoup’s European team.
• Understand TechSoup Vision and Mission globally; coordinate with TechSoup global P&C team.
• Manage a small P&C team.
• Coordinate labour law legal issues (incl. GDPR, GIODO) with cooperation with external law firm.
• Advise leadership team and managers on employee issues.
• Take responsibility for end-to-end implementing P&C policies, processes, and procedures (including trainings for managers).
• Recommend updates to benefits portfolio.
• Coordinate salary leveling process and manage internal payscale.
• Together with leadership team and global function create People & Culture strategy for the region.
• Take responsibility for cost-effective P&C budget execution.
• Create and run reports as needed for budgeting, recruiting, headcount, attrition, staffing, and other requests.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in HR/P&C roles.
• Excellent knowledge of Polish Labour Law Code.
• Senior position experience is a plus.
• NGO sector experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of EU labour law regulations is a plus.
• Experience in managing and upskilling teams.

Skills and abilities:

• Ability to work in a dynamic organization with changing priorities.
• Strong initiative, motivating and inspiring others, and assuming accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Able to work independently, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong project management skills.
