The Senior Manager will lead workstreams within the Operational Risk Capital, Stress Testing, Scenario Analysis and Reporting team. Focus areas may include deliver coordinating operational risk loss projections for global regulatory and internal stress testing exercises; coordinating analysis of climate change related operational risk impacts; or , supporting
local teams for regional regulatory stress testing requirements. The scope includes all NFR risks across Global Businesses and Regions coordinating operational risk regulatory reporting to the PRA and loss reporting to ORX for the Group.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate operational risk loss projections for global regulatory and internal stress tests, liaising with Economists, Group Legal, Global Risk Stewards and Regional Enterprise Risk Management who provide inputs and validate projections.
- Continue to Promote evelop the methodology design of a globally consistent stress testing framework for group enterprise wide stress tests, policy and procedures, considering regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop new stress testing processes aligned to the group methodological framework.
- Support the delivery of a stress testing platform for timely and efficient stress testing execution.
- Ensure appropriateness, robustness and completeness of the quantification framework for the PRA / EBA / Country Regulator required stress tests.
- Maintain oversight of the stress testing schedules across multiple entities. Underpin the Country / Regional teams with consistent approaches using internal validation and controls processes, consistent templates, systems and methodology.
- Lead a workstream within the team, driving development of practices in the area and setting policy and procedures.
- Coordinate with stakeholders within the Group functions and across all Regions and Businesses to provide inputs.
What you need to have to succeed in this role:
- Experience in operational risk management and good knowledge of approaches to assessing operational risk capital requirements and stress testing.
- Proven experience of working with sophisticated tools for numerical analysis.
- Strong capabilities for in analysing data and gathering insights and ability to translate into clear and conscise reports.
- Excellent networking and negotiating skills, to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of stress testing methods for different purposes.
- Relevant work experience in a bank, rating agency, consultancy or advisory firm.
- Strong knowledge of Operational Risk and Operational Risk modelling.
- Ability to translate findings into clear and concise written communication.
