The EMEA Senior HR Operations / Data Analytics and Automation Manager is responsible for a talented and highly regarded team of EMEA People and Culture Generalists focused on delivering operational support across the employment lifecycle of 1200 employees based in 25 countries.
This is a specialist role demanding expertise in the management of HR policies and procedures, the automation of systems and processes, and the creation of a suite of critical data analytics dashboards and analysis.
Success in this role requires:
- Active participation and collaboration on global projects and provision of EMEA input and feedback in the design and implementation of new systems and programs.
- Determination to drive efficiency and productivity in the delivery of P&C Products and Services in compliance with all local legislative requirements, including continuous process development, implementation of tools, and automation of the employee experience.
- Skillset to deliver data analytics that will enable the EMEA P&C team to produce business-critical people insights, allowing the business and the team to move faster and make better decisions.
- Ability to build strong working partnerships within the global P&C function and adjacent teams such as Finance, including Payroll, Global Workplace Solutions, Procurement, and Legal.
- Desire to grow the individual and collective strength of the People Operations Team and realize opportunities for ongoing development.
- Ability to demonstrate the Leadf5 principles in practice and create a culture within the team based on the Bef5 Behaviours.
The EMEA Senior Manager, Operations/Data Analytics and Automation is a member of the small cross-functional People and Culture Leadership Team led by the VP, EMEA P&C Team.
Day to Day: Operations
- Lead a remote EMEA HR Operations team - 5 HR Generalists and 1 Intern based in multiple countries across the Theatre.
- Lead all aspects of HR Operations Processing for 25 countries including onboarding, offboarding, leave of absences, immigration, monthly payroll input processes, and other contractual changes as required.
- Policy management across EMEA, including policy development, changes, and tracking reviews in conjunction with the global policy team.
- GDPR compliance and risk management in collaboration with the privacy team, including maintaining employee files in line with retention periods, updating data mapping, and recommending enhancements to current processes.
- Liaison with Finance for invoice and vendor management for the P&C Team to ensure accuracy of financial accruals and onboarding new vendors.
- HR systems management in partnership with our global HRIS team, advocating system enhancements for our region and using feedback and data to identify and roll out new systems ensuring alignment with local processes and regulations.
- Ongoing development of ServiceNow, our digital employee portal; participating in User Acceptance Testing, delivering training to employees, and recommending future enhancements for future releases.
- Facilitation of new hire orientation for new employees and managers to create a great employee experience and create connections across the organization for our new employees.
- Project Management support for PAN EMEA Programs such as the EMEA intern program, learning and development events, and other program implementations.
- Upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Day to Day: Analytics
- Data Collection and Management: Gathering data from various HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS) and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing employee data to identify trends and patterns and using statistical methods and tools to interpret data.
- Reporting and Visualization: Creating dashboards and reports to present data insights and using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to make data accessible.
- Predictive Analytics: Using historical data to predict future trends (e.g., turnover rates, hiring needs) and implementing predictive models to support strategic decision-making.
- Process Automation: Automating repetitive HR tasks (e.g., payroll processing, benefits administration) and implementing HR software solutions to streamline workflows.
- Strategic Decision Support: Providing data-driven insights to support HR strategies and policies and collaborating with HR and business leaders to align analytics with business goals.
Qualifications:
- A first degree in human resources or a related field is useful but not a pre-requisite of the role.
- Significant experience in forming and leading HR operational teams, including the growth and engagement of high performing teams.
- Experience delivering HR Services across multiple countries in EMEA with a passion for continual improvement.
- Demonstrable skills in the setup, management, and delivery of data analytics and automation.
- Strong problem analysis and solving skills, demonstrating the ability to consider implications of complex problems, identifying solutions, and taking necessary actions to resolution.
- Established ability to build relationships, internally and externally; consultative in nature and able to quickly form partnerships across all levels of the organization.
- Effective and successful working in cross-functional teams requiring flexibility, patience, resilience, creativity, and the ability to adjust work style to match audience for unique business solutions and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, resilient with a strong focus on quality and efficiency, able to work well within a flexible environment.
- Experience working in a high tech, fast-paced environment is highly desirable where constant change is the norm.
Physical demands and work environment:
Daily screen and computer use principally in an office environment. At times there may be a requirement to accommodate various time zones for the delivery of key business initiatives.
