Senior Linux/Solaris Administrator

For our customer, leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation we are looking for a Senior Linux Administrator who wants to join the team supporting one of the biggest companies from the energetic sector.
Project information:
- Location: The office is based in Katowice and you will be more then welcome to join activities there to have an opportunity to spend time with your team and take part in important events.
- Type of employment: contract of employment
- Remuneration: up to 18 000 gross
- Level: Senior

- Contract length: Indefinite/ long-term
- Start date: depending on candidate"s availability
- Working hours: Shift work (8:00 - 16:00; 14:00 - 22:00; 16:00 - 24:00)
Your daily tasks:
- Conducting daily tasks including hosts building, automation, servers configuration, technical issues solving
- Server migration to new environment
- Planning, coordinating and implementing changes in collaboration with other 3rd line teams
- Engaging in various interesting projects
Requirements:
- Expertise in building and managing Linux servers
- Being proficient in the Solaris operating system
- Familiarity with automation and management tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
- Prior experience in VMWare infrastructure for deploying and managing Linux servers
- Good Knowledge of LVM, NFS, automount and storage management.
- Excellent command of English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Python or Pearl
