YOUR ROLE:
We are seeking a bright, curious, and customer-focused Senior Legal Counsel with German. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-9 years legal experience in an in-house or law firm legal role, with strong expertise in commercial contracting, an understanding of contract lifecycle management, and service delivery.
You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, from CDA through DPA to IT contracts related to a broad range of Client’s business activity.
You will handle procurement and licensing matters, as well as data protection. You will ensure timely review and response on all contract review requests and appropriate escalation of any potential concerns or issues.

WHO YOU ARE:

1. European degree in law
2. Providing expert legal support on a senior level
3. Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
4. Creating impact and working with minimum supervision in English and German
5. Ability to efficiently review contracts and smoothly communicate with different stakeholders involved in the contract negotiation process (business, procurement, etc.)
6. Excellent knowledge of commercial contracts, including IT contracts
7. Staying current with relevant laws and regulations as well as industry standards and trends
8. Additional work experience in contracting in the United States of America or with a company/law firm contracting under US law
9. Ability to analyze legal contracting issues and formulate and execute strategic responses with a keen understanding of the impact on business interests and company goals
