- Minimum 5 years of experience in Python – essential for backend development, scripting, and automation tasks
- Mastery of Python language features, data structures (lists, dictionaries), web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI), and testing (pytest)
- Experience with AWS EC2, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with integrating 3rd-party APIs, working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), cloud providers (AWS, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration
- Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI for automated builds, tests, and deployments
- Ability to create and optimize AI prompts for tools like GitHub Copilot, improving automated code generation
- Knowledge of industry standards: unit testing, linting (PyLint), and security scanning (Snyk) for software reliability
- Understanding of microservice architecture, event-driven architecture (Kafka), domain-driven design (DDD), and CQRS
- Expertise in designing and managing APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) using tools like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Ability to design cloud networking configurations (e.g., VPCs, load balancers) and work with serverless applications like AWS Lambda
- Familiarity with methods like canary releases, blue-green deployments, and A/B testing for smooth software updates
