At our factory in Szczecin, we are looking for a strong Senior Mechanical Engineer in Value Engineering & Standardization team with a creative mindset, able to create standardized and modular designs for electrical panels, converters and large mechanical constructions for wind turbines, working in a global team across Poland and Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • Translate technical requirements into cost-optimized, standardized and modular mechanical solutions for wind turbine products.
  • Lead standardization and modularization of mechanical designs.
  • Drive mechanical design of products (e.g. panels, converters, electromechanical constructions) ensuring compliance with quality, safety, standard/regulations and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical design standards, value engineering libraries and templates with focus on re-use and scalability.
  • Coordinate with Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing and After‑market to secure cost‑efficient standardized solutions across the value chain.
  • Prepare technical documentation and presentations to communicate concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather and integrate stakeholder input to ensure robust designs that support KK Group’s strategy and future product platforms.

Requirements

  • Education & Background
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably within the wind industry.
    • 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within the wind energy or renewable power sector.
    • Experience within design/verification/manufacturing of industrial system supply – preferably from the wind industry or similar sectors (e.g. as Application Engineer, Design Engineer, or similar within the electromechanical field).
  • Technical Skills
    • Ability to apply structural analysis and calculation validation to secure compliance with relevant requirements.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design, simulation and animation (CAD/CAE).
    • Familiarity with fatigue testing, vibration analysis and mechanical reliability assessments.
    • Solid knowledge of materials, corrosion protection and manufacturing processes.
    • Experience in developing and implementing mechanical design standards, component libraries and documentation templates.
    • Proven track record in mechanical system design, integration and standardization frameworks.

    • Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).
