Role Summary

Taking high level product requirements, dissemination of requirements for product development (and/or test development and support). Working on cellular 2/4/5/6G radio designs to support customer and market needs. Develops high level product solutions and working with development engineers implements new radio products and/or radio product related hardware solutions and ensures validation of product/feature complies with original baseline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive commonality of HW solutions across the organization. Act as a subject matter expert on Radio HW related issues for development teams and support organizations (ops, manufacturing etc).
2. Effective breakdown and management of requirements related to radio product or feature under development to a level that development engineers can implement.
3. Ensure that all requirements can be simulated/tested.
4. Generate documentation from which other teams can develop from/with and ensure that documentation is in the appropriate format/tool.
5. Setup/support/facilitate meetings to ensure effective communications within the radio business unit and outside the business unit as needed.
6. Identify and develop new IPR and patents.
7. Develop new products.

Job Requirements

1. Cellular Radio knowledge and understanding of cellular E-E system.
2. Proficient in HW development process and subsequent high volume manufacturing of products.
3. Demonstrable skills in systems engineering, lifecycle engineering.
4. Familiar with current technical trends in cellular communications.
5. Practical knowledge of development lifecycle and its use by systems engineers.
6. Proficient in office tools and able to work remotely and on-site.
7. Good communication skills, able to convey complex technical issues across organization.
8. Able to lead and direct to support product and project objectives.
