Attention Analysts!
Are you working as a capital or business analyst with a high interest in technical solutions? Perhaps you have been working with COREP reporting, credit capital models (IRB & SA) or built technical solutions to steer profitable business in a bank or a consultancy firm?
And most importantly, are you looking for a next career step, allowing you to dive into something really interesting and exciting?
If so, then you might well be the person we are looking for to join our Capital Development team!
Nordea, as an IRB bank, is on a journey to completely revamp its IT landscape regarding the calculation and reporting of capital numbers, to be used for regulatory reporting purposes as well as for internal business steering. This multi-year strategic initiative aims to enhance the way we source data, calculate capital and ultimately report to various stakeholders in the aftermath of Basel IV.
Clearly you would not be left alone with this large task, but will be joining a highly supportive and competent team, offering you professional growth as well as an opportunity to make new friends and life-long business partners.
We are looking for a person with functional knowledge in the bank capitalization (e.g. CRR, Basel IV) who is keen on combining their knowledge into the technical build of our new capital (REA/RWA) calculations engine. This will become Nordea’s official engine to be used for group and entity level calculations, and will be used for regulatory and business reporting incl. pricing applications. The position comes with many degrees of freedom to create the new solution and we are hence looking for proactive and innovative people, seeking to challenge current systems and ways of working. You will be working closely with IT and Business stakeholders to ingest functional and non-functional requirements into the build. Expert level programming skills are not required, but previous exposure to programming is advantageous and will enable better solutioning and communication with the team.
This permanent and full-time position is located in either Helsinki, Stockholm or Poland (Warsaw, Lodz, Tri-city) with partial remote-work possibility.
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.
