Our team is building a new Volvo product which will enable de Volvo Group to develop new services around Spare Parts. The first iteration of the new product will focus on one of our Business Area Volvo Construction Equipment.
After we will continue with other Business area of the group. This role of this new layer is to increase the flexibility in the business offer and to do that we need to do it in the IT application landscape.
It will create a lot of opportunities but along the way it is expected that we will face challenges as we will need to process large volumes, meet high performance requirements and build something which will be robust.
To achieve our ambition we will work with modern technologies and ways of working. The application will be built on Azure Public Cloud and designed in microservices.

Responsibilities:
• Develop new features in an iterative way that collectively form a larger application
• Modify and enhance existing software to add or change features, while constantly improving the codebase
• Participate in the estimation of work to be done as part of an overall agile process

• Minimum 6 years professional experience in JAVA
• Knowledge of Spring/Spring boot framework
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP technologies
• Experience with distributed cloud environment (microservices, message queues)
