DIMETRA Connect is a newly formed team responsible for designing and implementation of a new DIMETRA IP Gateway that will enable communication with Tetra Devices via IP networks.
Our product will be developed and tested in Java in our R&D center in Krakow with cooperation with the Tetra Device teams from Denmark and Malaysia.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer who has at least 3 years of professional experience to develop with us a new DIMETRA Connect Application Server. Our goal is to build a real-time server with very good performance that will be providing voice and data services to  Tetra Devices via IP using websocket signaling and SRTP audio streams.

The position requires availability to work from office 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

• Proficiency in Java (JDK 21) language with at least 4 years of proven experience
• Knowledge of Java Concurrency
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating system and virtualization
• Knowledge of networking protocols and IP programming on Linux
• Ability to write JUnit tests
• English language skills

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience with dependency injection in Java (CDI)
• Experience with Spring and/or Quarkus
• Experience with Netty Framework
• CI/CD tools and techniques, ie: Jenkins
• Experience working with GIT, Artifactory, JIRA
• Experience with Audio streams handling (RTP, ACELP)
• Knowledge about websockets
• Knowledge about garbage collector
