About the position

For our long-standing client from Germany, we are seeking a Senior Developer to join our team!

The main objective of this role is to support the development and maintenance of a complex product tailored to professional financial services, particularly products designed for a scoring agency.

Responsibilities:

• Handling a legacy decommissioning mission and building new features
• Identifying and implementing appropriate technical solutions
• Participating in planning sessions
• Estimating the time required for your tasks
• Taking ownership of developing specific product features
• Reviewing pull requests
• Advocating for clean code and best practices within the team

Technologies you’ll work with:

Java, Spring, Python, React, Postgres - for a variety of customer-facing products.

We are looking for:

• 7+ years of professional experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring (ideally in combination with Python or React as a fullstack)
• Fluent English (international team)

Nice to have:

• Cloud knowledge (Azure in the project)
• Experience as a Tech Lead or willingness to develop in this direction
