Architecting, building, and maintaining highly scalable and resilient microservices, primarily using Java and Kotlin, on public cloud infrastructure (AWS), to support business growth.
Writing clean, efficient, and production-ready Java and Kotlin code for backend systems, ensuring it is thoroughly tested, maintainable, and adheres to established coding standards.
Taking full ownership of the development lifecycle for key platform components – from detailed design and cloud deployment (AWS) through to performance monitoring and operational support.
Actively participating in agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to team delivery and continuous improvement.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as QA, DevOps, and Product Management, to ensure the successful delivery and evolution of robust fraud prevention solutions.
Proactively identifying technical challenges, actively contributing to architectural discussions and decisions, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
Advanced Java and Kotlin programming skills and software engineering practices.
Experience with public cloud technologies (familiarity with AWS preferred).
Practical knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Practical knowledge of event-driven systems and data pipelines (e.g., Familiarity with Java Spring framework.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent English and intermediate Polish in speaking and writing.
