Senior Java Developer &##Hybrid – Gdańsk (3 days remote / 2 days office)&##We are expanding our engineering team in Gdańsk and are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a long-term partnership with a major Scandinavian client. This is a chance to join our local backend team in Tri-City as we grow, working on modern, business-critical digital platforms used at scale. Consid is an award-winning IT and consulting company founded in Sweden, with a strong presence across Scandinavia and Europe, including Poland. We are building and scaling strong technical teams locally in Gdańsk — and we’re looking for engineers who want to grow with us. As a Senior Java Developer, you will: Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs Participate in architectural decisions and technical improvements Work in a cross-functional DevOps setup with end-to-end ownership Write automated tests and support a strong TDD mindset Java 11/17+ (Streams, Records, functional APIs, concurrency, performance tuning) Oracle SQL (performance optimization, joins, indexing) AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) Nice to Have Strong technical skills are essential, but mindset makes the difference.
