About the role:

We are looking for talented, curious, and energetic Java Engineer who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. 

Main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines to design, develop, and implement features.
• Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and well-documented code, utilizing technologies like Java, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and Docker.
• Leverage your understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to translate wireframes and mockups into functional prototypes.
• Work closely with Technical Product Management to understand business needs, architect robust and scalable solutions, and document the technical aspects of the implemented solution.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in various programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages, and operating systems.
• Play a key role in designing and implementing various components of our global transaction processing systems.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by effectively communicating with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key requirements:

• Expertise in Java   
• Experience building backend services with Spring framework   
• Advancement in ReactJS / Redux / React Native / Vue.js / Angular
• Professional background in Hibernate  
• SQL/NoSQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch)
• Working experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes.
