Employer: Klarna

Location: Warsaw (hybrid work: 2-3 days in the office)

Rate: 170 - 195 PLN per hour

Cooperation model: B2B or Employment Contract

Start date: ASAP

Duration: long-term agreement

• At least 6 years of experience with Java (version 17 and up);
• Framework knowledge: Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate or JPA;
• Tools: Docker and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab);
• Databases: Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases;
• Testing: Proficiency in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing tools;
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture;
• System Design: Solid experience with microservices architecture, scalability, and system integration;
• Strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Experience in driving complex projects from start to finish, guiding and mentoring teams;
• Experience in contributing to architectural design and system-wide decision-making with proven track record of both technical and organizational impact;
• Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Others Java frameworks and Spring Security;
• Kubernetes and CI/CD best practices;
• NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, and database performance tuning;
• Performance testing and automation frameworks experience;
• DevOps tools (Terraform, CDK) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog);
• Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ);
• Awareness of security best practices, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), and container orchestration tools.
