We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong backend expertise and good knowledge of German to join a long-term project in the financial sector. You’ll be part of an Agile team modernizing and digitizing banking applications used by more than 150,000 workstations and 4,500 employees.
Your work will focus on building and maintaining Java-based applications (Spring, microservices), refactoring existing modules, and integrating Angular Web Components with a headless CMS. The role involves direct collaboration with German-speaking business stakeholders.
Location: 100% remote (Poland-based)
Capacity: Full-time, 12-month contract

responsibilities :
Develop and maintain Java-based applications in a financial environment
Refactor existing modules and improve system maintainability
Work with microservices and API-driven architecture
Integrate Angular Web Components with a headless CMS
Collaborate directly with German-speaking stakeholders in an Agile setup
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in Java
Strong knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Data, SOLID principles, and design patterns (API-driven mindset)
Experience with relational databases and ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes or OpenShift
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
English and German at a good working level

Rate: 130–150 PLN/h + VAT (B2B)
