Your responsibilities

  • Developing modern applications for external clients using Java technology.
  • Designing and implementing solutions based on design and architectural patterns, applying approaches such as DevOps, Domain-Driven Design, Behavior-Driven Development, TDD, and Infrastructure as Code/Service.
  • Working in international teams using best practices and agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
  • Growing in professional software development, including applying Clean Code principles.
  • Close collaboration with experienced technical and business experts, enabling the deepening of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.

Employer requirements

  • Higher education (Bachelor’s, Engineer, Master’s, or Postgraduate studies), preferably in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in development projects, creating new functionalities rather than only maintaining existing systems.
  • Practical experience in programming with Java technologies (JEE, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
  • Ability to write unit tests and follow SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.
  • Knowledge of tools and technologies such as Maven, Unix/Linux, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience in designing REST APIs, implementing RESTful services, and designing databases using SQL, Oracle/SQL Server, and Redis.
  • Fluent English and communicative German (minimum B1).
  • Candidates with German at A2 level, willing to intensively improve, will also be considered.

Optional

  • Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Fullstack development (Java + Angular/React) is a plus.
