Senior Java Developer / Developerka (AWS, Payara)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a long-term project for a global company in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for creating data imports to Cloudera Data Platform (CDH), infrastructure setup on CDH, and building pipelines for those imports. The role involves collaboration with international teams, following Scrum methodology, and working with modern cloud-native technologies. The project supports backend systems used in production and logistics, with a strong focus on scalability, modernization, and adopting cloud best practices. The team follows DevOps principles and uses modern tools to maintain efficiency and reliability.

Your missions
- Design and implement data import processes to Cloudera Data Platform
- Build and manage infrastructure setup on Cloudera Data Platform
- Develop and maintain pipelines to ensure reliable data flow
- Contribute to backend improvements and cloud technology adoption
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team to deliver high-quality solutions
What we're looking for in candidates
Must have:
- 5+ years of commercial experience in Java development
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes
- AWS Services (Glue, S3, messaging)
- Databases: PostgreSQL, DocumentDB
At least one of the following:
- Java and Payara migration experience
- Authorization configuration (OIDC) experience
- Infrastructure knowledge (Kubernetes, EKS, running microservices in the cloud)
Nice to have:
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Payara, messaging architecture
