Job Description:

Were looking for a Senior Java Developer/Architect for a project in the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions.
• Implement and enforce quality standards and procedures (like quality gates, code formatters, check styles, etc.).
• Drive innovation in architectural design and development practices.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Establish and manage development (including static and unit testing).
• Work closely with stakeholders, including Team Architects and Developers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Oversee the implementation, code reviews and test coverage to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of Developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in good development practice;
• Proficiency in development lifecycle tools (Bitbucket, SonarQube, GitLab );
• Experience with Java , and other relevant technologies;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot development and architectural issues;
• Experience in optimizing unit and integration testing done by Developers;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• University/college degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience;
• Proficiency in English language at a B2+/C1 level .
