As a Senior Java Developer / Application Architect, you will be working for our client, a company focused on developing and optimizing cloud-based applications that support diverse business operations. You will combine hands-on development with architectural leadership, ensuring that applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide technical decisions, implement robust solutions using modern frameworks, and foster continuous improvement in software quality, coding standards, and engineering practices to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.

responsibilities :
Lead the design and implementation of application components using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
Drive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution designs
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and internal customers to refine requirements and shape technical decisions
Mentor team members in software engineering best practices and clean architecture principles
Implement and maintain cloud-native applications and containerized solutions (e.g., Docker, Azure)
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure continuous delivery and high-quality software
Evaluate and improve code quality, performance, and security across applications
requirements-expected :
4+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot in developing robust, scalable applications
4+ years of experience with architectural design patterns, distributed systems, and API design
4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and container technologies (Docker)
4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members effectively
Experience with database design and implementation
Autonomous, structured, and quality-focused work approach
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), German is a plus
