Your new role
As a (Senior) Java Engineer specializing in IoT, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing software components for next-generation heating systems. You’ll work across the full stack—from cloud infrastructure to embedded systems—ensuring seamless integration and high performance. Your responsibilities will include:
Building scalable microservices using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus
Deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments, particularly Azure Kubernetes
Automating operational workflows and contributing to CI/CD pipelines
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape software architecture and drive innovation
Participating in code reviews, testing, and optimization to ensure high-quality deliverables
Contributing to the development of smart home technologies that support energy transition and sustainability
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus
Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and container orchestration using Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
Bonus points for experience with IoT platforms, Kafka, MongoDB, or GitOps methodologies
A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in agile teams
Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Polish or German is a plus
