This project involves migrating JBoss systems to a modern Spring Boot cloud environment. The new joiner will be part of a team focused on modernizing and streamlining legacy Java applications

Work Model: Hybrid work – 3 days a week from the office in Warsaw, Poznań or Lublin.

Senior Java Developer

Your responsibilities

• Migration of applications from Wildfly to Spring Boot architecture, including removal of outdated components such as EJBs and JMS
• Redesigning processes and migrating them to Camunda 8 BPMN
• Integration with other processes using Kafka
• Development of comprehensive integration test suites to ensure functional parity of migrated services
• Setting up Kubernetes namespaces, defining access rules, and configuring deployments according to platform standards
• Creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
• Adaptation and enhancement of Camunda BPMN processes to align with the new Spring-based architecture
• Definition and extension of OpenAPI specifications, supporting contract-first development and enabling efficient API documentation and client generation

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot
• Practical knowledge of SQL databases and REST APIs
• Experience with OpenAPI and Kubernetes (from a usage perspective)
• Strong design skills for process recreation
• Good communication skills in English (B2+)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/Cloud environment
• Experience with Camunda Process Engine
• Familiarity with Kafka
