Project Description:

Were developing and maintaining a strategic data store of reliable model inventory and certification data in one of the Worlds Top 10 Investment Banks. The system performs overnight data loading from multiple source systems and runs batch processing to conduct certification checks and deliver reports to stakeholders according to strict SLAs.

This is a legacy system to an extent, but we keep developing new features and modify existing ones.

Project stack:

Responsibilities:

1. Develop new functionalities and support existing Oracle SQL/PLSQL code;
2. Java development and support existing applications;
3. Tune existing code, implement new features and enhancements to the existing production system;
4. Write and maintain technical documentation;
5. Participate in meetings and discussions with customers, working closely with technical leads, analysts, and developers;
6. Troubleshoot performance, concurrency, and functional problems;
