For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Senior Java Developer
Location: remote / WarsawBranch: project in security sectorJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 12 monthsRate: 140-170 PLN/h net on B2BStart date: ASAPWorking hours: Business working HoursRemote work: 100% remote, preferably hybrid model two days a week inf the office in Warsaw
Tech stack:Java EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Devops, JBoss, PostgreSQL, Openshift
Project:Project for a large client from the IT sector
What will you do:
- Design, develop and deliver system components (back-end), based on the analysis of the customer’s functional and non-functional requirements.
- Provide input as part of a dedicated scrum team for the development of features and services.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support regarding bugs, or other development issues.
- Maintain parts of the entire code baseline (Database, Model, UI, extensions etc.).
- Write and update technical documentation.
- Optimise the software from performance, security, and quality point of views (back-end).
- Administration/configuration and deployment of the Java EE application servers (mainly JBoss, Apache) and software releases

What we expect from you:
- Minimum 6 years of professional hands-on experience in software development in Object-Oriented programming, specifically on JAVA EE technologies (EJB, JPA, Web Services, WebSockets, RESTful interfaces, etc.).
- Java Certified Programmer’s Certificate (minimum Java 8) or equivalent.
- Has actively participated in at least 4 projects as back-end developer.
- Advanced knowledge of JBoss 7 EAP Application Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Apache Web server, PostgreSQL database and Jackrabbit.
- Hands-on experience in working with Maven, Git, JUnit, Jenkins, and IntelliJ IDEA
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile.
- Personal Security Clearance at EU-CONFIDENTIAL level or above.
- Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)
What would be a plus:
- Experience in NoSQL databases like e.g. MongoDB.
- Experience with HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, or Angular.
Experience in Azure Cloud
