For our client, one of the largest investment banks in the world, were looking for a Senior Java Developer.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional agile pod with the autonomy to innovate, focusing on outcomes and continuous learning. You’ll be part of a team that is building out Finance & Treasury products that connect macroeconomic outlook, data-driven insights and forecasting capabilities to ensure profitable growth through market cycles. Collaborating with product experts, quants, and other engineering teams, globally. Your products will have a huge impact in improving our financial forecasts & provide intelligent steering of client’s liquidity affecting the profitability and sustainable growth to the client’s franchise.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the clients office in Krakow or Wroclaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy software applications for the procurement platform
• Design, code, debug, and enhance Java-based components of the platform
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Adhere to software development best practices and coding standards
• Ensure the platforms performance, security, and scalability

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in software development using Java
• Experienced in building large, scalable & highly reliable systems
• Experience in design, engineering and participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle (within the finance sector, preferred)
• Ability to code in Java 8+/Spring Boot and proficiency with SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience with Cloud, Microservices, Containers, DevOps
• Experience with BDD/TDD BDD: Cucumber/FitNesse
• Experience in modern build pipelines and tools (CI/CD)
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
