For a client in the banking industry, we are looking for an individual to fill the position of Senior Java Developer

Candidates will work with senior developers to develop the user interface for a new application in the bank.

Candidates will join an experienced team of developers with a proven track record of developing scalable, enterprise web applications.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in full stack engineering, but specifically in SPA development.
Ideal candidates will have experience with the Enterprise Java framework, but alternative frameworks will also be considered.

Training in PKI, key management and certificates will be provided.

What we expect

• 2+ years’ experience in any SPA framework
• Strong JavaScript and Typescript
• 8+ years’ Experience in an Enterprise server side framework (Java preferable)
• Experience with RESTful or SOAP web services
• Database: Oracle 11+, JPA, SQL
• Proficient in using SQL to query relational databases
• Tools – Experience with IDEs (JetBrains, VS Code), GIT, CI/CD
• Experience in working on multiple technologies and medium to complex systems, well versed with design standards and frameworks
• Experience with development of client facing UI modules with a focus on usability and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with continuous integration and agile development methodology is desirable
• Experience in unit and integration testing is required
• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of security best practises.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute to design discussions and problem-solving sessions.

Experience designing/implementing enterprise applications is desirable.
