About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to play a key role in developing, optimizing, and modernizing a complex, large-scale business system. You will work on advanced architectural solutions, lead technical discussions, and mentor team members while solving critical challenges in performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Java 8+ (preferably Java 17).
• Create and optimize RESTful and SOAP Web Services for critical system integrations.
• Lead architectural discussions, defining best practices for coding and system design.
• Optimize and maintain Oracle databases (SQL/PLSQL) at an advanced level.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with company objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, improving system stability and performance.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Java development (1.8 or higher; Java 17 preferred).
• Deep expertise in Spring Core, Hibernate, and Eclipse Link.
• Proven experience designing RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases (SQL/PLSQL) and query optimization.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Experience leading architectural decisions and mentoring developers.
• Fluent English (C1) – written and spoken.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience optimizing large-scale monolithic systems.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, Tomee, or advanced application performance monitoring tools.
