You will take part in long-term development and maintenance of backend applications that drive key business processes. The project involves designing and optimizing microservice-based solutions, ensuring software quality, performance, and compliance with secure development standards. Location: 100% remote work/ max 2 days per month from Warsaw or Poznań or Wrocław office.
responsibilities :
Developing and maintaining backend applications built with Java and Spring
Designing, implementing, and optimizing microservice-based solutions
Ensuring integration with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle
Building and managing message-based communication using Kafka and RabbitMQ
Writing unit and integration tests using JUnit
Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the Consumer Finance Tribe
Applying secure coding practices and maintaining compliance with software standards
Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance
Participating in code reviews and promoting best engineering practices
Supporting continuous improvement of backend architecture and workflows
requirements-expected :
Have advanced knowledge of Java and Spring frameworks
Possess strong experience in backend application development
Are proficient in PostgreSQL and Oracle SQL databases
Understand both synchronous and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Are experienced in using JUnit for testing
Have solid knowledge of microservices and RESTful API design
Communicate clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams
Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Hold a degree in a STEM field, preferably Computer Science
