Currently, we are developing a cutting-edge telemetry platform along with a front-end portal that collects and processes data from vehicles, such as their location, tire pressure, fuel levels, and more. Our system also supports various types of alerts that are crucial for accurate customer billing, saving our client hundreds of thousands of euros annually. This revolutionary solution is transforming the automotive rental industry, enabling our client to operate faster, better, and safer.
We are looking for a seasoned developer who is not only proficient in Java and cloud platforms but also eager to learn new technologies and comfortable switching between them within a single project. Experience with Kafka is essential, as it forms the backbone of our system’s communication architecture. Familiarity with GCP, Go, Kotlin, and Groovy is also beneficial. The role also requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with our client’s team based in Barcelona and Alicante.
responsibilities :
Participate in the entire application lifecycle: design, build, deploy, test, release, and support
Create an advanced telemetry data platform
Integrate various services
Cooperate with international Dev teams to optimize and improve existing solutions
Cooperate with the Quality Assurance team
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and other meetings with client, Product Owner, or Technical Leaders
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience in building applications using Java on top of cloud platforms
Working knowledge of Git, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes
Experience using JIRA and Confluence
Good communication skills, openness
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Flexibility, ability to learn quickly and share knowledge with other team members
Very good command of English, both written and spoken (B2+/C1)
