Senior Java Backend Developer – Microservices (Contract) Miejsce pracy: Gdańsk Technologies we use Expected Java Spring Boot Spring Hibernate Kafka React JavaScript Docker Git Maven Jenkins About the project We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design and build scalable backend systems and microservices for a large enterprise digital platform. Your responsibilities Design and implement backend systems and microservices Develop RESTful APIs and web services Participate in architecture reviews and optimisation initiatives Debug, profile, and optimise applications Integrate external APIs and services Write and maintain technical documentation Our requirements Strong expertise in Java 8 Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate Microservices development using REST, JSON, XML Messaging and distributed systems experience (Kafka) Strong understanding of SOA principles and web services (REST & SOAP) Experience with Relational or NoSQL databases Exposure to containerisation & orchestration technologies Experience with React or advanced JavaScript Tools: Docker, Git, Maven, Jenkins Seniority: 7 years experience What we offer Location: Gdansk Work Mode: Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week
