responsibilities :
Leading hands-on backend development using modern Java and Spring Boot
Mentoring engineers and supporting their technical and professional growth
Collaborating with principal engineers and tech leads to shape system architecture
Applying engineering best practices such as TDD, clean code, and SOLID principles
Designing and implementing APIs, data models, and modular system components
Ensuring CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes are optimized and maintained
Implementing observability, resilience, and scalability patterns across services
Driving decision-making through structured frameworks and documenting technical choices
Removing roadblocks and enabling the team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Ensuring backend systems meet standards for reliability, performance, and security
requirements-expected :
5+ years of experience in backend software engineering
Strong expertise with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale backend systems
Solid understanding of system and application architecture patterns
Knowledge of TDD, clean code, SOLID, and design patterns
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native environments
Ability to mentor engineers and facilitate collaborative technical decisions
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders
Results-oriented mindset with experience in improving engineering or DORA metrics
Fluent English
