Senior IT Specialist, Hardware Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Facilitate review of new hardware coming to the portfolio.
• Inventory and track physical IT components.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security Operations Center for assignments and security of hardware.
• Support M&A projects from a Hardware Asset Management perspective.
• Create and update documentation; actively build knowledge base.
• Propose and implement process improvements and automation.
• Automate operational tasks (preparing requirements or developing if you possess the skills).
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple divisions and reporting levels.
• Develop and conduct training for department staff to maintain inventory.
• Establish metrics and reporting for asset compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience within IT, preferably in Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
• Understanding of ITIL practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical approach and good problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to implement processes and improve operational stability.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Flexera, IT Master Data tools is a plus.
• Certification in Hardware Asset Management is a plus.
