responsibilities :
We are globally undergoing a digital transformation, currently implementing Workday as QIAGEN’s core HCM system. We are looking for an experienced IT HR Solution Specialist to drive the technical implementation during the build phase and beyond working closely with both our HR and IT teams.
Technical Support during Workday Implementation: Collaborate with internal IT teams, external consultants, and the HR implementation team to ensure the successful implementation and rollout of Workday modules (e.g. Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Core & Advanced Compensation and Workday Help).
Integration and Configuration: Drive the integration of Workday with existing IT systems, especially SAP HCM using SHAPEiN, SAP S/4 Hana, focusing on data migration, interface (API) setup, and workflow configuration.
Architecture: Define the overall architecture for the HR system landscape including its integrations jointly with our implementation partner
Technical Documentation: Review and sign-off and maintain technical specifications, system documentation, and user manuals.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the technical point of contact for issues during and after the implementation phase, providing resolution and guidance.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Help plan and execute testing phases (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT), troubleshoot errors, and optimize system performance.
Collaboration with HR: Work with the HR and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and security within the Workday system.
Data Analysis and Migration: Ensure data quality, perform and supervise data cleansing, and support data conversion in coordination with the Data Conversion Lead.
requirements-expected :
Educational background in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Ideally 4-7 years of experience with HR systems, preferably Workday, SAP HCM, or similar HCM platforms.
Familiarity with data migration, API integration, and technical implementation processes.
Project Management skills to be able to manage parts of the HR system implementation (e.g. integration) in a subproject
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a structured working style.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to bridge HR and IT departments.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
