We are looking for an Senior IT Project Manager to an international project of building new ERP system (building an integrated custom built solution in .NET technology + SAP) in the railway industry.
responsibilities :
Single point of contact for the vendor (external software company)
In close cooperation with the vendor:
Lead the project from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget and to ensure that project requirements are met.
Responsibility for all project team works and progress including monitoring the projects progress based on the information and reports obtained from the vendor.
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
Unblock any obstacles that may appear on side.
Being the first point of escalation in case of any issues that may appear.
Preparing & participating in Steering Committee meetings (in agreement with the vendor).
Prepare and execute handover to production and to the future product owner (incl. organizing to compile operational manuals, coordinate training, prepare support & maintenance contracts, develop cut over plan, organize after go live support).
Business travels required (Austria, Germany).
requirements-expected :
University or bachelor’s degree – preferrable IT field or similar.
10+ years of relevant experience in structured project management role in projects with a volume of 500+ man days.
Experience in managing software delivery projects (preferable in .NET).
Experience in ERP delivery/migrations projects (e.g. SAP or Custom-built), has experience with Business Analyses.
Agile mindset & experience in working according to agile methodology and their tools (big visible charts, burn up charts, working with user stories, …).
Proven success working with all levels of management and experts (e.g. subject matter experts (business/IT), senior management and C-Level top management).
Possess high team management & excellent communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Very good command of English.
Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines, details-oriented.
Knowledge/experience of data architecture systems.
Preferred professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
Experienced with the MS office suite, Jira, Confluence.
Applies high standard of work ethics.
