Manage portfolio of IT projects (business and IT focused)
Being a primary point of contact and partner for the customer’s lead contacts
Project management in Jira and/or other designated tools
Meetings with internal teams to confirm plans (deep understanding of technical work in projects is required)
Understand and document, with support from Business/Data Analysts, detailed business requirements and translate business needs into technical systems and process improvement solutions
Presentation of plans and progress to the client and internal stakeholders
Administration of project documentation
Oversee and guide project teams, fostering an environment of growth and positive interaction
Coordinate project plan, project activities including daily standups, weekly project meetings, and periodic steering committee meetings with senior management
Identify process enhancements and drive improvement initiatives
Collaborate with Client’s stakeholders on designing vision of delivered solutions, assist in client engagement activities
Delivers reports internally on delivery status, key performance indicators, etc; in a consistent, timely and accurate manner
Manage financial aspects of projects (budget monitoring, burndown and forecasting). Be responsible for maintaining required revenue & margin
Prepare SOWs (Statements of Work), including scope, deliverables, timelines and budget
Support staffing proposals within delivery team to ensure delivery roles are in alignment with delivery expectations and timelines
Ultimately, along with growth of project portfolio, build a team of PMs and Delivery leads
Understand and implement industry best practices
requirements-expected :
Minimum 8 of related experience in similar roles
Great knowledge of Jira and/or other project management tools
Excellent command of English (min.C1) and Polish
Strong communication ability (verbal & written)
Strong capabilities in stakeholder management and client relationships
Excellent skills in people management, leading and developing teams
Practical knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and waterfall methodologies. We mostly work on T&M projects where results matter
Knowledge of technical concepts such as API microservice, UI, S3, terms from Big Data, web application development, data products, data pipelines, data quality, ect.
Knowledge of DevOps processes
Proactive approach and goal-oriented mindset, research, problem solving and analytical skills
Able to multitask and work managing multiple projects at the same time
Ability to work in 3 to 4 hours overlap with US East Coast time zone
Ability to travel infrequently (4-6 times a year) across Europe and US
