  • The Senior IT Procurement & Vendor Management Lead is accountable for the commercial governance of approximately 400 IT supplier contracts across Europe and the United States. The role ensures contractual, financial, and risk optimization across the IT supplier landscape, supports strategic sourcing initiatives, and leads complex negotiations for IT services, software, cloud, and infrastructure.
  • This is a senior individual contributor or player–coach role with high exposure to IT leadership, legal, finance, and executive stakeholders.

  • Contract & Supplier Management
  • Own and govern a global portfolio of ~400 IT supplier contracts
  • Lead contract lifecycle management: drafting, negotiation, renewal, termination, and compliance
  • Ensure contracts align with corporate policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection, security, audit rights)
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, legal, and operational risks in IT contracts
  • Negotiation & Commercial Leadership
  • Lead high-value, complex negotiations with IT suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, SLAs, KPIs, service credits, liability, IP, data protection, and exit clauses
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and risk reduction
  • Manage escalations and commercial disputes with suppliers
  • Strategic Sourcing & RFP Support
  • Lead and support global RFPs / RFIs / RFQs for IT categories (software, cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, managed services, consulting)
  • Define sourcing strategies in collaboration with IT, security, legal, and finance
  • Evaluate supplier proposals from commercial, contractual, and risk perspectives
  • Support supplier selection and executive decision-making
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary procurement partner for IT leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Group SCM, Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Information Security
  • Provide clear, fact-based recommendations to senior management
  • Educate IT stakeholders on commercial and contractual implications
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish procurement KPIs and contract performance metrics
  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and governance models in collaboration with group supply chain
  • Ensure audit readiness and transparency across the supplier landscape

requirements-expected :


  • 10+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial vendor management
  • Proven track record managing large, international IT contract portfolios
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex IT contracts (software licensing, SaaS, cloud, managed services, professional services)
  • Strong experience leading or supporting global RFPs
  • Hands-on experience working with Legal on contract terms and risk mitigation
  • Experience in multinational organizations with Europe and US exposure
  • Experience with major IT vendors and system integrators is strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of IT contracting models and commercial structures
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud consumption models, and outsourcing contracts
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills
  • Solid understanding of data protection, information security, and regulatory requirements in IT contracts
  • Financial acumen: TCO, cost modeling, benchmarking, and savings tracking
  • Ability to interpret and challenge supplier pricing and contract language
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
