We are looking for a Senior IT Architect to join our Architecture Practice and support strategic architecture modeling across the data and application landscape. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining architecture models describing both the current and future state, working closely with business, IT, and key stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Head of Architecture, this role plays a key part in shaping the future-state architecture and driving technology transformation within a financial services organization.
responsibilities :
Shaping the current and target state of the data architecture in close collaboration with Data Governance, business, and IT architects, data SMEs, and stakeholders
Evolving and maintaining next-generation technical architecture supporting data at scale across operations, BI, analytics, and data science
Developing architecture models describing the application and data landscape, target state, and transformation roadmaps within Financial Information
Contributing to defining the future architecture and roadmap for data systems, including ingestion, aggregation, enrichment, calculation, historical data, and market data streaming
Managing the architecture repository and application inventory within the domain, ensuring compliance with IT Governance requirements
Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and security, risk, and regulatory guidelines
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
At least 5 years of experience as an IT Solution Architect, preferably within the financial services sector
Hands-on experience with complex, multi-dimensional data landscapes and scalable data platforms
Strong knowledge of modern data architecture patterns and technologies, both on-premise and cloud-based (Microsoft Azure preferred)
Solid understanding of on-premise, cloud, and hybrid architectures and their trade-offs
Fluent English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus
Willingness to work from the Warsaw office 2–3 days per week
Fluent Polish required
