Development of interfaces between medical devices in the area of operating tables and operating lights on the basis of SDC and the IEEE 11073 series of standards as well as other standard communication protocols.
Creation of the associated documentation.
Development of product design specifications for system/product interfaces
Creation of software documentation (software requirement specification, software test documentation)
Definition of interface standards and creation of interface descriptions
Development of interface applications in software (C, C++, Java, Python, XML)
Development of customized Linux operating systems
Verification & and validation activities
Writing unit tests, carrying out code reviews
Managing software versions with the help of software versioning tools (e.g. git, AzureDevops)
Collaboration in standards committees and Plugatons
requirements-expected :
Masters degree in computer science or medical technology with a focus on software development
At least 3 years of experience in the specified area
Very good knowledge of common programming languages (Python, C++, C, XML, Java)
Ideally experience with the IEEE 11073 series of standards
Experience in the development of standard interfaces
Knowledge of standard bus communications (RS485, CAN, UART) and UML-diagrams
Experienced with embedded software
Knowledge of Git and version management
Communicative English skills at minimum B2 level, (German – Optional)
