Your responsibilities
- Development of interfaces between medical devices in the area of operating tables and operating lights on the basis of SDC and the IEEE 11073 series of standards as well as other standard communication protocols
- Creation of the associated documentation
- Development of product design specifications for system/product interfaces
- Creation of software documentation (software requirement specification, software test documentation)
- Definition of interface standards and creation of interface descriptions
- Development of interface applications in software (C, C++, Java, Python, XML)
- Development of customized Linux operating systems
- Verification & and validation activities
- Writing unit tests, carrying out code reviews
- Managing software versions with the help of software versioning tools (e.g. Git, AzureDevops)
- Collaboration in standards committees and Plugatons
Our requirements
- Has at least 3 years of experience in the specified area and holds a master’s degree in computer science or medical technology with an emphasis on software development.
- Possesses excellent knowledge of popular programming languages (Python, C++, C, XML, Java)
- Has extensive knowledge and experience with the IEEE 11073 series of standards and in creating standard interfaces
- Is knowledgeable about standard communication buses (RS485, CAN, UART) and UML diagrams
- Has experience with embedded software.
- Is proficient in Git and version control management.
- Communicates well in English (B2 level; German is optional).
- Possesses strong communication and negotiation skills
- Has analytical thinking skills, the ability to work in a team, and organizational skills.
- Is dedicated to performing assigned duties
- Is self-reliant, goal-oriented, reliable, and creative
