Job Description:

The Senior Instructional Design Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of training content, policies, and procedures.

Instructional Design Responsibilities:

  1. Work with internal stakeholders to gather educational requirements.
  2. Lead project teams to design and develop client-facing training content and materials.
  3. Collaborate frequently with subject matter experts to assist with knowledge transfer and the accuracy and quality of content.
  4. Use instructional design principles and industry standard methodologies to define learning objectives and create and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led-training materials, job aids, and assessments.
  5. Use e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools to build interactive and engaging e-learning modules that incorporate multimedia, simulations, and assessments.
  6. Develop, test, and maintain user training materials for instructor-led training, self-paced training modules, and online training content, including interactive tutorials and mixed media courses.
  7. Work with LMS administrator to ensure content is effectively deployed and represented in Relativity Learning.
  8. Assist with the production and management of industry, community and educational events.
  9. Participate in the delivery and evaluation of training sessions when appropriate.
  10. Continually grow knowledge of instructional design, technical communication, and multimedia content development.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven proficiency of adult learning theory, content development, and assessment.
  2. Solid professional and technical writing skills.
  3. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), LMS, and eLearning authoring tools, platforms and software (Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate).
  4. Proficient at successful collaboration with cross functional teams and communicate with stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience with e-learning standards and SCORM requirements.
  8. Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives.
  9. Ability to drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
  10. Ability to adjust quickly to changes in priority, scope, and other business needs.

Compensation:

  1. Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices.
  2. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 128,000 and 192,000 PLN gross/year (Employment Contract). The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
